Sale Process

This is the lead text describing Satterwhite's Sales Process

  • Proposal is sent out to customer
  • Customer reviews proposal and signs it
  • Proposal is sent back to Satterwhite Log Homes with deposit
  • Satterwhite Log Homes reviews proposal sent in and signs proposal
  • Black binder is sent out with window, door, shingle, and stain selections. It also has additional information on misc. items as well as request for Direction
  • Customer is working on dirt work at this time and will call when dirt work is done to Satterwhite Log Homes requirements.
  • Directions should be given to Satterwhite Log Homes at this time
  • Full deposit must be received by Satterwhite Log Homes
  • 3 copies of Plans & Contract are made for crews
  • Pictures of dirt work and access are sent to Satterwhite Log Homes and if found sufficient and there are no foreseen issues then no one will visit site prior to job beginning. If there may be an issue then the concrete Forman and Plumber may travel to the location to check site and verify dirt work and access to job location.
  • If everything is in order the concrete crew and plumber will schedule the date to start
  • Concrete crew & Plumber will show up and form up the foundation for the home and the porches.
  • The next day they will poor the concrete
  • Foundation draw is due to Satterwhite Log Homes
  • Customer should send in all selections and information that was in binder back to Satterwhite Log Homes
  • Once the Foundation is pored as long all selections are into Satterwhite Log Homes the job will go on the board to have a crew scheduled.
  • Crews can 30 to 90 days out, depending on the work load to be scheduled
  • Crew will pick up plans and directions and call customer just before job is to begin
  • Product will be delivered to Job site via Satterwhite Log Homes truck or 3rd party trucking
  • Crew begins and starts working on home
  • Contract will have amounts and schedule but draws will need to be sent in to insure that crew will continue working to prevent job from stopping. Examples: you will have a draw when log walls are erected, when home is blacked in, and when the roof is completed.
  • Before crew leaves they will go over a check list with customer
  • Crew leaves and Customer or General contractor finish out the interior of the home and stain and seal the logs both on the interior and exterior.
